Mogadishu :: 22 July,2009 The Somali
Journalists’ Rights Agency (SOJRA) is very grateful to let the Somali
exiled journalists to get and read this letter containing small words of
wisdom from their colleague in Liberia.
Greetings everyone,
I’m Hisenburg Q.
Togba, a Liberia journalist formerly exile in
Ghana
during the Charles G.Taylor government. I’m back home. I would like to
inspire my colleagues from
Somali currently exiled to keep the bravery. Wherever you
find yourself, continue your work.
During the years my
colleagues and I were in Ghana
, organization ourselves into a group styled, “Media organized to Report
in
Exile (MORE) and published the Exile News.
One of our
colleagues was able to benefit from a one year fellowship—don’t give up!
NB: I’m back home
and publishing “The Equality Trumpet Newspaper”, weekly.
Hisenburg Q. Togba
Hopefully, our brave journalists who are currently
exile in neighboring countries and western or Arab countries will be
like Mr. Hisenburg Q. Togba in order to work for their people.
