Freedom House blamed journalist Hassan Bulhan that he is related to warlords and militias following when he requested medical fees support.

Mogadishu 03 August,2009 :: Hassan Bulhan who is the director of Radio Abudwak and poetry man was injured on 7^th February, 2009 by a militia man as he was making live coverage peace conference and has requested defenders to help his medical fees in Nairobi Hospital, but unfortunately after consecutive contacts with them, finally defenders wrote an email to him accusing him of being related to warlords and militias.

SOJRA is strongly condemning Defenders such a harassment against the injured journalist that has already caused mental problem to the victim, and is demanding immediate apology and compensation about the effect of his healthy.

SOJRA is worrying about the side effects that defenders accusation can have the future of the journalist in terms of future employment and his health as he is currently under treatment.

Hassan Bulhan is not only journalist but he is also a poetry who always forward peace messages through his poem to Somali people who are oral society. He is well known poetry man in Central and Punt land regions of Somalia.

Thanks DOHA CENTER that is based in Doha Qatar which extended some financial support to Hassan after when he was operated in Galkacyo Hospital Somalia of which has used to pay all his medical bills in Somalia hospital before he was referred to a Nairobi hospital.

Once again SOJRA is demanding immediate apologies and compensation for Hassan Bulhan from Defenders and freedom House for their wrong accusation that has affected his medical situation and dignity and urging defender not to be offenders.
