Shabelle’s reporter released after 3 days in jail

BALANBAL (Sh. M. Network) – Abdikarin Ahmed Bolhan, Shabelle’s reporter in central Somalia has been released by the Islamist clerics of Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a after 3 days in jail at Abudwaq district in Galgudud region.

 

The reporter himself said in an interview Shabelle that he was brought before a court about 10:00 AM local time on Saturday morning and the court has listened more for the issues accused the journalist, but was not found any guilty.

 

More of the executive members of the administration had attended the court and all the accusations that the journalist had released baseless report on demonstration through shabelle radio and was published on the website of Shabelle were bases less propaganda and had no any evidence which lastly caused the reporter to get his freedom once again.

 

“The clerics did not deal with me badly. I did not see any problems since I was in the jail except the mobile phones that the forces had taken from me. Now I am ok,” said Abdikarin Ahmed Bulhan.

 

Mr. Bulhan protected the untrue charges and said that that he was free adding that they ordered to him to contact with spokesman of the administration of Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a if needed any report from the environment.

 

All the Islamic administration of Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a cleris in Galgudud region and the administration of Shabelle Media Network had welcomed greatly for the release of Shebelle’s representative for central Somalia Abdikarin Ahmed Bulhan who was detained over the last three days.
