Somali Exiled Journalists in
Kenya dispatch a sincere and brotherly apology to
all Somali participants in Mombasa civil society
conference |
Nairobi,Kenya 13 December, 2009 :: We deeply
regret and feel pity for the bad manners of NUSOJ
Secretary General, Omar Faruk who unrecognizably claims
to represent all Somali journalists without their will
for his deliberate and unfeeling formation of
discourteous disturbances on behalf of Somali
journalists against self - sacrificed and notable
people who were attending Somali civil society
conference in Mombasa, Kenya
In an official statement, Somali Exiled Journalists
Association (SEJASS) notified that NUSOJ authorities
including its highest officer wanted to create a fierce
discord among Somali journalists participating in the
conference to cover. To cause complete halt of the
conference was the real purpose of NUSOJ move; we, there
fore, Somali journalists in exile are firmly making an
apology to our dear participants and organizers of
Mombasa conference for the irresponsible misconduct of
NUSOJ which is dire anarchist in Somali journalism
Somali Exiled Journalists Association (SEJASS) endorses
the brave approach which Somali journalists attending in
the gathering have objected to NUSOJ Secretary General
to pay speech on behalf of Somali journalists in the
conference.
Somali Exiled Journalists Association (SEJASS) is glad
to inform international community that NUSOJ secretary
General, Omar Faruk doesn't symbolize Somali journalists
once and for all, but instead he is engaged in the
creation of chaos and discords to reason wide
disintegration in Somali journalists.
On the other hand, Somali Exiled Journalists Association
(SEJASS) is sending a profound sorrowfulness to EHAHRDP
agency and its senior authorities for the receipt of the
uncomfortable talk from Uganda Journalists Union who- as
it seems to every one- is an agent of NUSOJ Secretary
General, Omar Faruk.
In the end, Somali exiled Journalists association (SEJASS)
is warning Somali journalists in exile in Kenya and
Uganda against the danger of NUSOJ and its affiliates.
We also appeal to international community to reconsider
the conducts and Journalism ethics of NUSOJ which is
always in position to make disagreement and
misunderstanding among Somali journalists and
international humanitarian and Journalism agencies
Mohamed Abdullahi Adan
Chairman of Somali Exiled
Journalists Association (SEJASS)
