Mogadishu 31 December, 2009 :: The Somali Journalist Rights Agency (SOJRA) is welcoming and supporting the outcome of the consultative meeting held in Mogadishu between 17^th and 24^th December 2009 with the aim of coordinating and strengthening the working strategies of the media houses in South Central Somalia.

SOJRA believes the result of the meeting participated by almost all media owners and journalist in South Central Somalia will be a solution for both the current row within the media organization that is undermining the invaluable work of the media outlets and preventing the reoccurrences of disputes.

SOJRA would also like to thank to SOCFEX which organized the consultative meeting between Somali journalist and urge other well wishers and international organization to take the same step taken by SOCFEX to help Somali media work and journalist have a better performance.
